Itinerary

Day 1 – Negombo

Arrive in Sri Lanka and transfer to Negombo, the charming coastal gateway known for its golden beach and colonial heritage.

Explore the Dutch Canal, St. Mary’s Church, and the lively Fish Market.

(Optional: Enjoy a sunset boat ride on the Negombo Lagoon.)

Day 2 – Wilpattu

After breakfast, head to Wilpattu National Park, Sri Lanka’s largest and most scenic wildlife reserve.

Embark on an afternoon safari to spot elusive leopards, sloth bears, elephants, and spotted deer around the park’s stunning natural lakes (“villus”).

Day 3 – Wilpattu

Spend the day exploring the wilderness of Wilpattu on a full-day safari.

Witness the raw beauty of Sri Lanka’s diverse flora and fauna in one of the island’s oldest and least disturbed jungles.

(Optional: Visit the ancient ruins of Anuradhapura in the afternoon.)

Day 4 – Sigiriya

After breakfast, travel to Sigiriya.

In the afternoon, climb the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its breathtaking views and 5th-century frescoes.

(Optional: Experience a village safari and enjoy a traditional lunch by the lake.)

Day 5 – Sigiriya

After breakfast, explore the sacred Dambulla Cave Temple, home to ancient Buddhist art and rock paintings.

In the afternoon, head to Minneriya National Park for a thrilling jeep safari. Witness the famous “Gathering” — hundreds of elephants congregating around the Minneriya Tank during the dry season.

Day 6 – Kandy

Travel south toward Kandy, stopping at the Matale Spice Garden en route.

In Kandy, visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and stroll around the scenic Kandy Lake.

Day 7– Nuwara Eliya

Day 8 – Nuwara Eliya

After breakfast, Set off early for a guided hike at Horton Plains National Park, home to World’s End and Baker’s Falls.

Enjoy stunning views of rolling plains, cloud forests, and rare wildlife species.

Day 9 – Ella

After breakfast ,Travel to Ella, either by road or via the famous train ride through lush tea country.

Visit Nine Arches Bridge and Little Adam’s Peak for incredible mountain views.

Day 10 – Yala

Depart Ella after breakfast and head south to Yala National Park, Sri Lanka’s premier wildlife destination.

In the afternoon, embark on a Yala Safari, where you might spot leopards, elephants, crocodiles, and exotic birdlife.

Day 11 – Mirissa

After breakfast, travel to the beautiful coastal town of Mirissa.

Spend the rest of the day relaxing on the beach or enjoying the laid-back seaside atmosphere.

Day 12 – Mirissa

Set off early for an unforgettable whale-watching excursion.

Spot blue whales, sperm whales, and playful dolphins as they surface in the deep blue waters off Mirissa.

Day 13 – Bentota

After breakfast, travel to Bentota.

En route, stop to explore the historic Galle Fort, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with charming streets, boutiques, and ocean views.

Day 14 – Colombo

Travel to Colombo, Sri Lanka’s vibrant capital.
