Itinerary

Day 1 – Arrival / Negombo

Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to your hotel in Negombo.
Enjoy a relaxing boat ride along the Dutch Canal and explore St. Mary’s Church.
(Optional: Visit the Fish Market or enjoy some beach time on Negombo Beach.)

Day 2 – Sigiriya

After breakfast, travel to Sigiriya (approx. 4 hours).
Climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offering panoramic views.

Day 3 – Sigiriya

In the morning, visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, renowned for its Buddhist murals and statues.

Day 6 – Kandy

Day 9 – Ella

After breakfast, travel to Ella (approx. 3 hours) by vehicle.
Upon arrival, you will have the option to take a scenic train ride from Nanu Oya through lush tea plantations and misty mountains, offering stunning views of Sri Lanka’s highlands. (Train ride available with early booking; otherwise, you will be taken by road.)
Visit the Nine Arches Bridge, a colonial-era bridge surrounded by greenery, standing 99 feet tall and offering a perfect spot for photos, especially when a train crosses it.
(Optional: Relax at a local café or restaurant with nice music and a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the local cuisine and culture.)

Day 10 – Yala

Day 12 – Galle
